Pearly White
Just spotted an ad in the NYTimes for this 8-strand freshwater pearl necklace from Ross-Simons: only $39.95! Honestly, this picture on the Ross-Simon website would never have interested Moi:
Clustered with eight twisty strands of 4-4.5 mm gleaming, white cultured freshwater pearls, it creates an amazingly flattering neckline – for a price that’s pretty amazing, too. Necklace is set with sterling silver hook clasp.: RS
But this ad in the NYTimes immediately caught Moi eye: for that price, a great necklace!
3 lengths available, also in brown cultured pearl. $3.95 shipping fee. Stock up: these are great for birthday, Christmas, graduation or any special occassion gift: perfect for your gift drawer. But hurry…several of the styles are already on back order! www.ross-simons.com/THEBEST or 1.800.556.7376 offer code: THEBEST

I have to say, I’m a fan of Ross Simon. A few years ago my husband bought me a pair of pearl & diamond earrings from Ross Simon at an incredible price and which later, a jeweler friend in Amsterdam claimed were great quality, especially when I told him the price. Best of all, Ross Simon, made my husband aware that jewelry was (or at least could be) affordable and it opened his eyes to the potential of buying me jewelry for Christmas without breaking the bank! He’s parlayed that experience into many other delightful presents and now he will pop into the jewelry shop next to his office on the Ku’Damm (as he did this year for my exotic gold wrap bracelet with pearl clasp) or venture into jewelry stores that previously he avoided for fear that he’d come out 2 months salary shorter as he’d seen in the diamond engagement ring ads. Now, don’t get me wrong… I’m all about the 2 month salary jewelry as well…. but Ross Simon is a great way to amass some quality jewelry at rock bottom prices.
I agree, AD: Ross-Simon has some great deals, and not just on jewelry! That’s why the multi-strand pearl necklace ad caught my eye: RS has such good quality at an affordable price. But if I had seen that necklace on their website, it would not have interested me.
The gold wrap bracelet sounds gorg…and remind TWG that India is known for its deals on gold and stones! I’ll keep an eye out…
