Yes, I bought mine at QVC. The smell showed up after the thirty days to return. I hated to do it, but I threw the touche eclat away. Clinique makes a similar product and that is what I buy now. How long did you have it? Did you try to return it? Mine lasts a long time, a year, but I've never noticed any smell at all, and certainly not a sour smell, I'd return it immediately.
