I do not want to do away with hardcovers or paperbacks completely- not being able to pass books along is hard to give up. But the kindle...apparently there is a kindle DX out there coming in at 9.7" and a whooping $489.00. That may fit easier into the palms of The Big Guy. I had to make that hard decision myself.
